Job Description
We are seeking a creative and driven Marketing + Social Media Intern to help us share our content, community, and creativity with the world. As a Marketing Intern at A SHARP Theater Collective, you will be responsible for curating content, managing a social media calendar, creating engaging content, and collaborating with our team to develop creative ideas that amplify our mission.
We are looking for an individual with a strong passion for musical theater and a keen sense of social media trends. If you are a self-starter with excellent writing skills, a fun and engaging outlook, and strong familiarity with content creation tools, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Curate content to be rolled out over the coming 8-10 months (clips from past shows, trendy TikTok content, informal interviews with staff/performers, etc.)
- Create and manage a social media calendar to roll out pre-made content for the 2025-2026 season.
- Create and manage engaging content across TikTok/Instagram/YouTube, posting 3x a week.
- Jump in on trends and tailor them to a theater-loving audience.
- Collaborate with our team to develop creative ideas that amplify our mission.
- Meet weekly with the producing team/artistic direction to monitor performance and analyze what’s working and how to implement better practices for posting and content.
Requirements
We are looking for the following skills and qualities:
- A love for musical theater and a strong pulse on current social media trends
- Excellent writing skills and a fun, engaging outlook
- Strong familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and content creation tools (like Canva, CapCut, etc.)
- A self-starter attitude and creative flair
Timeline
We will review applications on a rolling basis until the position is filled on/by June 15th.
The internship will run from June to September 30th, 2025.
If this internship is a good fit for you, there is a possibility for extension into a paid position in the fall.

Durations and Compensation
The internship will run from June to September 30th, 2025, and will be unpaid. However, if this internship is a good fit for you, there is a possibility for extension into a paid position in the fall.
As for compensation, the internship will be unpaid, with the potential for future paid positions.

- Remote: The internship can be completed from anywhere, with the option to meet in-person in NYC
