SMPTE 2025 Media Technology Summit

The global society of media professionals, technologists, and engineers has announced its call for technical papers for the SMPTE 2025 Media Technology Summit, scheduled to take place from October 13-16 in Pasadena, California. The Summit aims to present the latest innovative processes, tools, workflows, interoperability solutions, standards, and various other initiatives driving the industry forward. The technical papers presented at the event will cover a wide range of topics, including emerging technologies, AI and automation, and next-generation content creation workflows. To submit an abstract, authors must fall within the specific guidelines, which include the abstract should be within the range of 300-400 words and should be submitted until May 31. The conference program committee will notify authors of decisions by June 30. Selected authors will have the opportunity to present their papers at the peer-reviewed forum dedicated to the exploration of media and entertainment technology. Furthermore, the manuscripts will automatically be considered for publication in the SMPTE Motion Imaging Journal, subject to a separate post-event peer-review process.
